front of house wait staff
Our restaurant is thriving and we are seeking enthusiastic and friendly staff to expand our front of house wait staff team during the week from Thursday through to Monday, weekly.
If you are seeking experience in restaurant service or have hospitality experience, have a willingness to enhance our customer dining experience and helping us elevate our standards further then we want to hear from you.
Attributes required are confidence in your working ability and in presentation, attention to detail, good-natured, always having a smile, approachable and fun (like us).
Requirements for this role:
• Hospitality experience preferable
• Food, beverage & cuisine knowledge or interest
• Knowledge of hospitality booking systems
• The ability to keep calm and controlled during busy periods
• Good time-management skills
• Full-time, Thurs – Mon and part-time roles available
• Trustworthy and reliable with excellent references
• A current NZ driver’s license

Our restaurant kitchen is actively seeking a capable assistant chef who can work in a high momentum environment and under the management of the business owner.
This role requires someone who can work under pressure, take instruction well and meet the standard that our award-winning kitchen requires.
Attributes required are confidence in your working ability, attention to detail, good-natured, always having a smile, approachable and fun (like us) and willing to work to the standard required.
Requirements for this role:
• Chef de Partie kitchen experience

• Experience working in a team
• Full-time hours, Thurs – Mon

• Permit to work in NZ / permanent residency

Situated in rural Otago, 15km north of Oamaru, Riverstone Kitchen creates its menu based around the seasonal produce sourced from its extensive kitchen gardens and local suppliers. Our food is simple, full of flavour and delivered with exceptional quality and care.
Everything is made on site, from scratch, including bread, pastry, ice cream, stocks, sauces, sausages, bacon – we do it all! We also breakdown all our lambs in house along with the occasional pig and beef cow. If you want variety in your workday – we have it.
